Wool Cat

I've been obsessed with Givenchy's Men's Collection for F/W 2011-2012
for a while and more than anything this time around, though I'm quite behind on
the fashion schedule. Ive been drooling over their wool cat hat and i came to a conclusion
that i probably wont have a 2,000 dollar hat in my head any time soon so i decided to
make my knock off version. I found my old High School hat that my dog chewed on
and i decided to revive it. My original idea was to stitch a new layer of this leathery
fabric i found all around the hat and make it look a little beat up but i realized i
wouldn't have enough fabric, so i only covered the front  and painted the rest
with acrylic and cut the out the shape of the ears and stuffed it with the same
material and i have my own Givenchy hat!. i spent nothing since i had all
the supplies from previous little projects, fashion comes from imagination
and creation it can be dirt cheap but its all on how you wear it.

VIVA M....

Hello Virtual friends!I have been excited to show off my baseball pants my
brother found at a discount store for $4! The scarf idea i came up with comes from
that cool material they put out everywhere for Halloween, I've been wrapping
myself in it almost everyday, the shoes I've had in my closet for years and i have
no idea why the hell i had them, and they fit me so my idea was to paint them
black and some long spikes in the back but i haven't had the chance to
get the studs and they looked lonely so i hopped in them today! The
stripes leggings peaking underneath I got them from Betsey Johnson
last year in a desperate attempt to own something from her which ended
up working out today some how.

Remember my rambling about my sisters pageant well this weekend was
the Mexican Independence day parade in my town and she came out in it after
winning 1st place for representing our origin's State in Mexico (Yucatan).
The parade included tons of cool costumes and traditional dances from every
corner of Mexico i have a lot more pictures but i chose at random since they
were all equally amazing, except of course the first picture with my sister.
Now about the food you guys can already imagen the amount of choices
and booths they had but besides picking at different things i ate this delicious
Corn with mayonnaise, cheese, butter, and chili powder.

Horchata

I have been trying to post this for the past day and now that my computer stopped

throwing its tamper tantrum and now that i sat down peacefully to create this post
i completely forgot what i was going to go on about. So instead I'll let you know that
those pants im wearing i also got for 75cents I swear!. The belt is preview of something
on the works for my little online shop FilthyHanger we will be re-launching with a couple new
items and some positions and ideas of how to be creative with each item, i just feel  people
don't see the potential and creativity each hand picked item has and the humble price tag

that comes with it makes each item more exciting not only because a lot of stuff is vintage
but because most item are also hand made/re-made. Now the shirt i was excited to
wear because i feel it makes me look like a 90's stripper and also because my

best friend's, best friend passed away a couple months ago and she gave
me a couple of his clothes which i think is the coolest thing even though
a lot of people think its a bit scary and freaky, I never personally met
him but i know everything about him and he was to me the original

Mexican-clubkid/goth-erotic piercer and i will forever regret not
meeting him when i had the couple chances to do so, he was
and will forever be Thistle Harlequin look him up..

*Random Event* i went to my friend's, sister and law's

baby shower and was the only guy along with my brother sitting down watching coach

women (women that wear everything Coach) go insane playing games. They also had

endless pitchers of horchata the most delicious red potatoes, and yes i regret not

taking pictures.

Now that i think about it my plate from the baby shower would have been
more appropriate for my ghetto low budget food updates, but my breakfast
nutella banana sandwich will also do just fine.

Prince Charming

I had it with waiting to get blue, red and yellow paint to complete my desired

replica "Prince Charming" shirt i bet it would have looked a lot better in color but

this will do till them, these are also my pajama bottoms which I'm obsessed with wearing

not these in particular but pajama bottoms in general, i know what I'm about to say might

sound a bit pedophile depending on the readers mind, but this pajama bottom obsession

is do to the fact Kingston Rossdale walks out of his house with them all the time he is so

careless clueless about the fact he is probably the coolest kid.

My mom made these Tamales that if you haven't tried before you need too they are
Raja Tamales, they have cheese and slices of green Chile. I might have to get my stomach
cleaned after today because i might over dose on them, not also did she make these she made
Candy tamales, bean & cheese with chunks of Chile Habanero, do I not have the best mother?
not only does she make the best food but she has to put up with me everyday.

Lockdown

I made my sister play photographer outside our house because i decided like getting
cleaned up and dressed right before working out hah, but really more because i wanted to
wear that gray over sized blazer i got that same day at the thrift store for $1.00 and
all though looking back i find what i put together was something subtle compared to what
i usually wear, It's a good change all together its good to reinvent yourself slightly and
try different things from time to time, I'm also obsessed with tucking tacky necklaces
under collard shirts i have no clue where this came from..

This weekend consisted of a family baby shower, for a family friend.

If you are Mexican i mean not white wash, REAL Mexican you know that its a

trend to have Tacos grilled by the pounds for the guest, there is no acomidation
for a vegetarian so when you are stuck in a helpless situation you better be
creative and follow what i pulled out, I made my own vegetarian tacos with
onions, cilantro, lemon, red & guacamole salsa, beans, and my new
obsession Papalo Leaves. Its an ancient plant, found all over Mexico,
the American Southwest and parts of South America they have this
certain refreshing scent and you can include it in almost anything.
I smashed some of it into this fresh cucumber juice my aunt made
and i know anyone would go crazy for this its must!

No fit

I have always wanted to wear these trousers my brother owns
but they are not my size, but while drooling over Vivienne Westwood's
Man Collections a favorite hobby of mine i noticed that over sized look she
does with her trousers, so i mounted my brothers trousers and strapped a belt
on my waist and all though i most definitely didn't hold a candle next to Vivienne
convinced my self deep inside that they were indeed Vivienne Westwood. I also
realized i took these pictures once again at the Target Resort haha which was
not my intention but it works, I also highly recommend one of my favorite
snacks of all time Baby food Pouches i swear life to those they are
amazing i would probably survive on those if i had too.

I also tried this new thing i was curious to do to with the pictures,
to upload the pictures and then take a picture of the picture.  yeah idk...

Billboard

The funny thing about my Mother is that she can care less about what my hair
looks like she has always let me dress and be myself, but when it comes to wearing
patterns that contrast each other or if I'm doing two plaid colors in the same outfit it
it bothers her more than anything and as her child i feel that it is my duty to do my
part in annoying her every once in a while. This Look was also a small mix of
a proud shopper, because i bought these pants for 75cents which i really have
no clue whether they are pajama bottoms or part of a 70's grad mothers
Mumu collection but regardless they reminded me of Vivienne Westwood
and i just couldn't let this 75cents stay in my pocket.

Bag: Thrift Store $3 but we can say its Marc Jacobs since i hung my MJ key chain
on it. Belt: Hecho en Mexico. Rings: Marc Jacobs, Spoon made ring, Material Girl
cross, Vending Machine, and a gift from my brother. Bracelets: Calvin Klein and
a gift from a friends trip to Europe.

Before i look like hypocrite for putting up a picture of my Salmon
roll dinner plate after a went on about fancy looking dinners, let me tell
you that we have this amazing place where i live and every night they have
happy hour with rolls for only 3-4 dollars i would be a complete fool to not
take advantage of such a deal. Now if you live in California and don't know
who Angelyne is there is something wrong, well i spotted her on a random
parking lot yesterday and being on my bucket list for many years now i
had to approach her and let her know how fabulous she is and of course
i needed to have that closer look. She ever so sweetly took the task
to try to slang me some of her T-shirts from the trunk of her car and
poor her i had nothing on me but she was very nice...... to be continued
